Structure*

The basis for DAO governance is voting. Who can vote and how they vote is a very important.

We at FierceLabs DAO are Token-based for voting versus:

Wallet-based voting (typically multi signature wallets, known as multi-sigs)

Governance token voting is when tokens act as voting chips, where 1 token = 1 vote. The more tokens you have, the more weight your vote has. So, someone with 10 tokens would have 10 times the voting power of someone with one token.

Governance tokens are cryptocurrencies minted by DAOs that are used in on-chain votes. Our token is $FLDAO. It's presence on the wallet gives access to vote.

Governance tokens can be traded on exchanges. So, anyone can buy and speculate on the token, meaning they buy it to make a profit. This means that DAO governance tokens can never be a complete representation of a DAO’s base of engaged members.

Voting*

Token-based voting:

We want to give voting power to people with more financial stake.
We want to be sybil-resistant, meaning they want to resist attacks of multiple people having more than one wallet (wallet-based DAOs fall into this trap).
We are growing larger and don’t necessarily need to know the identities of contributors. This is best for decentralization.
We want to hold all governance processes on-chain.

Privileges

Privileges in the DAO are not limited to voting and/or submitting proposals. Governance in FierceLabs DAO includes all initial guidance and decisions for the R0AR Token and R0AR xCHANGE on the Ethereum blockchain and Ethereum compatibles (Before they become their own decentralized R0AR DAO). All future, NFT's, the R0AR Portal (Research & Trading Platform), R0AR future development on other non-ETH compatible blockchains, licensing and future development in the roadmap both publicly communicated and privately held.

These are not the full extent of privileges. And privileges can be further extended by the DAO upon future vote.

Upon Loss of Privileges

Due to the nature of the DAO, it is very inclusive and there is almost no reason a member should lose privilege. However, in the case that this happens, DAO Members have the right to exit the DAO and receive their share of DAO treasury upon exit. This exit privilege is locked into contract. DAO members as well can transfer ownership or voting privileges to others. This protects all members equally, even those that choose to no longer take part.
